Blog will be back August 8th when Watch the Throne drops

With my numerous vacations, and my preparation for Vans Warped Tour, I've taken a little break from the Rap game, until the two greatest drop what they do best, I'm also in discussions with some different folks to  make this blog more than just rap, to have separate pages with different genres, so people like me can spread the music that they are so passionate for.  comment on your idea's of that please, I would Love Feed Back.

Need My Love - Lil B (Music Video)

I don't care what you think about Lil B's talent in rapping or in music in general, I happen to really like him but damn Lil B is hilarious, in his "Need My Love" video dropped yesterday he enforced that point, cause damn this is just great.

A Different World - Phil Ade

I know I'm a few days late on this one, but I finally got around to listening to it and damn, I first heard of Phil on the Yonas "Nobody Else" remix, and they both killled it, then I downloaded "The Lettermen" and loved it, and this new tape, is the best I've heard of Phil.  With features from U.N.I., Mac Miller, Raheem DeVaughn, GLC and more Phil goes in.  Get the DL link below and enjoy you won't regret it.

Otis - Kanye West & Jay-Z feat Otis Redding

It's here the first song off Watch The Throne that's been released and confirmed "Otis" Song is fire Kanye and Jay-Z over a classic Otis Redding Sample.  Watch the Throne is coming and it will be album of the year to real rap fans, maybe not the mainstream people but to real rap fans like us, Two of the greatest are together, and going to make classics.

Flowers - Big Sean, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa

It looks like after back to back day releases of Off to the Races, and now Flowers, its pretty clear that these three up and coming superstars are doing a tape together, Big Sean and Curren$y spoke about it last year, but now it looks like its coming to fruition.  Enjoy "Flowers" scroll down a little on the home page and listen to "O.T.T.R." and check back for the tape.

Legendary - Royce Da 5'9" feat Travis Barker

Off of Royce's new album, "Success is Certain" the song Legendary features live drums by a drumming great in Travis Barker.  Royce sounds sick on this song, better then on Bad Meets Evil, which is saying something because some say he upstaged em on that album.  Anyway song is sick check it out.

O.T.T.R. - Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, & Big Sean

New song from three of rap's up & coming Superstars.  Wiz Khalifa who released Rolling Papers through Atlantic Records, Big Sean who just recently released "Finally Famous" and is Kanye West's Protege and G.O.O.D Music member, and Curen$y "spitta" whose been on fire lately "pilot talk" "pilot Talk 2" and more.

Imagination - Jason Caesar feat Laws

Jason Caesar dropped a new song Yesterday off DjBooth.net called imagination produced by M80 from up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and featuring Laws, the new song uses the sample of The Temptations "Just My Imagination" and is a real smooth track, check it out on the link below.

DJBooth.Net: Jason Caesar - Imagination

The Canz feat Laws & Danay Mariney

New Song dropped today by The Canz, rappers out of Atlanta, along with the artist Laws, whose been making it bigger, after the release of the "Yesterday's Future" mix tape a Paul McCartney tribute, (which is dope as fuck by the way), I hadn't really listened to Canz, but after hearing this smooth track it definitely time to check out their mix tapes, you should do the same anyway listen and enjoy.

Worth the Wait - Los (mixtape)

Los a rapper out of Baltimore is back with another hot tape in "Worth the Wait" he's been on tour and working hard, because this is a solid tape, my favorite of his was "louis vuitton gift pack" but this new tape that dropped a few hours ago might surpass it.  Shouts out to Los on giving us another Dope tape, DL it below:

Download: Los- Worth the Wait

RewindRhyme - Gorilla Warfare Tactics

They're back finally, I've been missing some GWT, after that first release "Premier" I was craving more and its here with RewindRhyme.  These three Brooklyn guys can spit and over good beats also, GWT should be big, classic beats, with good bars, looking forward to hear more from these guys.

Download: RewindRhyme

Lights - Break the Glass feat Shad and Holy Fuck

Now I have never heard of Lights, I'm not a big Canadian Pop Star fan, however this song with some techno beats thrown in there along with distortion and another flawless verse from Canadian MC Shad is great.  Lights clearly knows how to recruit artists on her songs, because in my opinion this is a hit.

Ill mind of Hopsin 4 - Hopsin

The crazy eminem sounding rapper Hopsin is back with a new song and directed music video this time Hopsin is taking shots at the Odd Future Star: Tyler the Creator.  I'm interested to see how this one plays out, if Tyler tries to go back at him.  It's odd though that in Tech N9ne's "Am I A Psycho" Hopsin said he wasn't taking shots at Tyler the Creator, but now it seems to be different, anyway song is dope in my opinion check it out.

Trouble on My Mind - Pusha T - Feat Tyler the Creator

The song premiering on RedBull's music site, which is interesting, the new song featuring GOOD Music Member and member of Clipse Pusha-T, teaming up with the controversial rapper Tyler the Creator out of the Rebellious super group of kids in California, Odd Future.  The video will be premiering in one more week so check back for that.

Fuze the MC - Secret Admirer (Official Video)

The official video for Fuze the Mc's song "Secret Admirer" off his latest free album "Tell Me Something GOOD" is here.  the video is Dope I gotta say I like the three guys sitting in a seat part a lot for some reason.  anyway the tape that this song is on is dope also and is a must DL, right now i'm busy writing a review for the album, which should be out later this week, until then DL the album below and check out this video.

Tell me Something GOOD Album DL

Big Sean : "Watch the Throne is Like DAMN"

After the release of Big Sean's Debut album "Finally Famous" he was on MTV getting interviewed by Sway, Sway asked him if he could give any info on the Super Duo of Kanye West and Jay-Z's collab album "Watch the Throne" from this interview we learned that Big Sean will not be on the album and that it has some "hot ass tracks" and Big Sean said even the intro was like "Damn" check out the full MTV article below.

Big Sean on Watch the Throne

We Miss You - Nicki Minaj

New Song that released from Nicki Minaj, it was speculated that this song was a tribute to her Cousin who was tragically murdered outside of his Brooklyn home a few days ago, but On Nicki's twitter she told us that's not the case, it was actually a song that didn't make the cut for "Pink Friday" the song was recorded on 5/24/2010.  So enjoy this smooth track from Nicki, but also keep her family in your prayers after a tragedy.

Just Like Me - Jay Rock

From the West Coast coming off the same label TopDawgEntertainment as up n comer phenom Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock is here with this new song and official video that will be on his july 26th release of his album "Follow Me Home" song is great in my opinion, to some he might be like Kendrick where it takes a little getting used to, but Rappers that rap about real shit, are a lot more appealing to me then money/hoes rappers.

Bad Girls Club - Wale Feat J Cole

Here's a snippet released off Amazon, of a new Wale and J Cole Song, "Bad Girls Club" I'm just making an assumption that this will be a single off of Wale's sophomore album that I believe is due out sometime in 2011, anyway check out the snippet and I'll make sure to post the full song when I get it.

Mind Your Manners - Chiddy Bang

New Release from Chiddy Bang Today entitled "Mind Your Manners" was first seen on MTV Buzzworthy, but after the latest tape "PB & Swelly" Chiddy Released this song, and it's pretty Dope, I really like the sample or beat if its not a sample.

Wednesday, July 6, 2011

Starky Hendrix - Gabriel Stark (MixTape)

After releasing the Tape TGIS: Thank God It's Starky, this college rapper is back at it again with a real chill Summery beats mix tape.  The tape is 10 songs and has "Random Song That Doesn't Fit" a Jason Mraz remix on there from TGIS.  Overall this is a dope tape though and definitely worth the DL.

Starky Hendrix and TGIS Download

Run - The Knux feat Kid Cudi

The Knux an alterantive hip-hop group out of New Orleans, Louisiana asks to have Kid Cudi on this leaked track on the Knux 2011 album  "eraser."  This is the first time that I've actually listened to the Knux, but I'm a huge Cudi fan.  This seems to be proof of more of Cudi's experimentation drifting away from rap; and I have to say I like it especially since it has a Summer kind of feel.

Mac Miller Announces New Album Name

To Save you from watching this wack as Mac Miller Rap lines are video, the album will be named "Blue Slide Park."  I'm not a Mac fan but I will admit the kid had great beats on his KIDS mix tape, but "Best Day Ever" wasn't near the level of that tape, anyway "Blue Slide Park" out sometime.

Frank Ocean - Dream Killa

This song produced by Midi Mafia, is said to be a Demo song according to Frank Ocean's tumblr, assuming that the post today of "Demo, Demo, Demo" is applying to this.  Anyway, I'm a huge Frank fan and enjoyed hearing this even if it is just a Demo track.

Tuesday, July 5, 2011

The Up - Charles Hamilton (mixtape)

Sonic is  Back, one of my favorite MC's Charles Hamilton either released "The Up" as 5 unreleased tracks, or it could be 5 brand new tracks.  Anyway "The Up" was released today, and is Charles Like, to say the least.  You'll have to DL it for yourself below, but this is a good sign, that eventually we might actually get a Charles Hamilton Album.

Charles Hamilton - The Up

Kanye West and Kid CuDi - All of the Lights Live at SummerFest

THE CUD LIFE TOUR - VLOG #19 from Kev on Vimeo.

Posted by Chip Tha Ripper who is accompanying CuDi on the Cudlife tour, this was CuDi's last song with Kanye for the night.  CuDi opened the show off with a quick 25 minute set, and then came out for 4 more songs with Kanye.  He played "Erase Me" "Poke Her Face" "Gorgeous" and then "All of the Lights" later on in the show.  I'll have my own write-up of the show in a few days, but Chip had a little bit of a better camera and a lot better of a seat then I did.

Summer Jam - The Cool Kids feat Maxine Ashley

The Cool Kids new album "When Fish Ride Bicycles" is dropping here in 1 week and this new song Summer Jam is a leak off of the album.  The Cool Kids combine there good voices with a chill laid back hook about Summer sang by Maxine Ashley.  The thing that mostly stands out to me though is the production.  This track is Produced by The Neptunes, who have done numerous of hot songs.  The Cool Kids didn't go wrong with this one thats for sure a nice chill, summer jam.

Los - Finally Here

Off of his Twitter @SwaggaBoyLos, Baltimore rapper Los dropped this new hot song "Finally Here" with some good quotable lines, a good beat, and a decent hook Los has shown that this next mix tape is going to be a hot one.  The los tape that is my favorite is Luis Vuitton Gift Package, if you haven't gotten that one or you're not familiar with los thats where I recommend beginning, especially if you like this new song.

Trae Tha Truth – I’m On (Feat. Lupe Fiasco, Wale, Big Boi, Wiz Khalifa & MDMA)

Trae Tha Truth – I’m On (Feat. Lupe Fiasco, Wale, Big Boi, Wiz Khalifa & MDMA)

This song Off Trae The Truth's new album "Street King" coming out a week from today on July 12 features 4 big name rappers and MDMA who was often times on the hooks on Lupe Fiasco's third studio album "Lasers". The song is actually really good, Lupe and Big Boi are strong on this song, or maybe its jus their flow and delivery that gets me, Wiz spits a verse like new Wiz would and its nice to see Wale making a comeback into the game after vanishing for a little while so to speak. Anyway check out I'm On above, normally I don't use other Hip-Hop sites info, but I couldn't find a youtube upload for this one. Anyways Enjoy.

Lil B - I'm Gay (Happy)

It's finally here.  The Same Rapper that made songs like "Wonton Soup" "Ellen Degeneres" and "Charlie Sheen" displays a more emotional and meaningful message over this new album.  The Album that received so much criticism because of the name really doesn't have a bad message at all, Lil B who some see as a joke rapper, really displays that he's actually a force in the rap game.  Buy "Im Gay" on iTunes NOW!!!

Chris Brown - Marvin's Room (Remix)

Damn, everyone is doing some sort of remix on Drake's Soon to be Smash Hit "Marvin's Room" easily one of the dopest songs out this year no lie, but damn Breezy really you had to try to go in on this and didn't.  JoJo and Los kicked your ass on this one, just let Drizzy have this song and artists need to stop wanting to remix this song, cause its taking away from what Drake put out.  I wouldn't mind seeing Frank Ocean go in on this song though, especially after Breezy "Attempted" to.

The Dean's List - All My Troubles

The Dean's List has been on a tear releasing new music, Everyday, followed by Plutonic and now All My Troubles a week later, they really are doing well at making a name for themselves, check it out above.

Kids These Days - Hard Times EP

I was hooked from the moment that I heard SummerScent and Darling, Kids These Days is a dope act out of Chicago consisting of a rock, jazz and rap influence.  Citing influences such as a Tribe Called Quest, and The Roots it's obvious to see why.  A soulful sound with saxophones, and horn instruments, Kids These Days consisting of 8 members, hopefully will get the shine they deserve.  Their new EP Hard Times dropped today on iTunes for only $4 and its a must purchase, so get on your iTunes and give these kids the credit they deserve for great music.  Check out SummerScent below also if you need more convincing.

GOOD Music Signs to Island Def Jam

That's right GOOD Music is now part of an official Label as opposed to being just a compilation of artists.  The Kanye West lead group, has signed with Island Def Jam, and Big Sean has been shown as the Flag ship artist, considering that his Album Finally Famous (out tomorrow) was the first one released under Def Jam.  Kanye West has always been with Def Jam and now he's letting others Get out their dreams with Def Jam.  The interesting thing is I don't know yet what John Legend and CuDi are going to do, considering they have different labels.  Common has signed to Warner Bros Records, I believe he is still a member of GOOD tho.  Article Below:

GOOD x Def Jam

Yonas - A Reason To Breathe

The man just doesn't stop making dope music.  After his major album "The Proven Theory" that dropped in April (Buy at iTunes), to his song "Living in the Sky" and his DjBooth.net Freestyle "Get Em'."  Yonas has been on a tare and he's here with more new music.  The thing about him is he's so refreshing and honest with all his music and thats an admirable quality to be honest.  He's stated that more music is coming during the summer, so keep checking back for that and DL this song and some of his previous works at his website:

Kanye West Working with LMFAO

When I first heard this I was thinking WTF Kanye, working with the Party Rock Anthem crew, but now  I'm still looking at it like WTF Kanye West.  Then again he did do a GOOD Friday song with Justin Beiber that sounded good, and I mean he did work with LMFAO on the "Love Lockdown Remix."  And in an interview a while back Kanye did say he wanted this to be a more electronic album, so we'll see what happens but I mean his 3rd album Graduation was kind of poppy and it's fricken Kanye West, so there's no way in Hell I'm writing him off.  Anyway the full interview/article with LMFAO is below:

LMFAO x Kanye West

Young Marqus mixtape coming out July 4th

I was on Twitter the other day and this guy tweeted at Lupe about his new mixtape and Lupe retweeted it and Hyped this "Guy" turns out that it's an 11 year old rapper from Houston, Texas named Young Marqus.  So if Lupe is promoting this guy then he must be dope and in fact this 11 year old kid can spit, in fact he once opened for lupe himself.  Check out some more vids by (reading more)

Update from Charles (about a week old)

As I was sitting with my iPod on Shuffle, Sonic himself came up and it got me to first realize how great of a rapper he is but second to realize that I miss that Sonic flow.  So where the hell are you Mr. Hamilton.  So I did some searching and found this video from about a week ago where Charles is calling his man Corpy and talking about how once he gets out in 2 WEEKS!!! he's gonna continue making music, and also that in the future he wants to work with Odd Future.

Kid CuDi - Angels and Demons

Although this song seems like it was done back in 09 and was a track that got cut off of Cudder's debut album "Man on the Moon: The End of the Day" its now finally surfaced.  The track "Angels and Demons" features CuDi on his flow that we all fell in love with, and the track is supposed to have verses by "The Clipse" on their, but for some reason none of the unreleased versions of this song have had that.  Overall, Good track with a good cudder hook and then one CuDi verse.

Wale - Bait

Alright, big deal I lied, I couldn't resist to update everything, still doesn't mean I'm not listening to those albums, but Wale has been in the Studio non-stop it seems like, after his "I'm on One" freestyle to his new song "Bait."  On his twitter he kept saying shoutout to Maryland, Virginia, DC, and "#Bait" became a trending topic, but anyway about 6 minutes ago he released this new song so check it out, Wale is back that's all I gotta say.

Wale- Bait DL

Yonas - Get em' Freestyle

At 8 PM Yonas dropped a Dope freestyle entitled "Get em'" on the DjBooth.net freestyle series, he actually was the last freestyler of the Series of 250 freestyles.  Yonas like he said in the freestyle is coming from nothing and now he's finally making it, and I love to see it.  The Proven Theory was his most recent album and is a must buy on iTunes.  He also just released a dope song in "Living in the Sky"  and now this freestyle.  On his Facebook he said that more music will be coming towards the end of the summer and let me tell you I'm pumped to hear this. Link and "Living in the Sky" (Read More)

Fashawn featuring Sam Hook - Down That Road

Today on Twitter Fashawn Released his brand new Single "Down that Road" to iTunes.  The hook is Dope by Sam Hook, and Fashawn spits some good verses, makes me excited for his next project, see for yourself, and buy it on iTunes.

Gilbere Forte x Sean Rose - Here We Go Again

Never really checked out Sean Rose, but I have everything of Gilbere Forte's and he's dope and has had Rose in some features so now, this release for free download has me pumped for there June 30th release of their collab album "Summertime, Sunshine, Nightfall."  You can get there song "Here we go Again" at there bandcamp website listed below, and this song is a summer Banger let me tell ya.

Here We Go Again DL

J Cole - The Sideline Story

Could it finally be here? Earlier today on Twitter J Cole stated that the album would be called Cole World: The Sideline Story and that the album would be released on 9/27/2011.  This is great news for Cole Fans like me, because I was starting to lose hope, can't say I'm 100% there now, cause this album was supposed to be out in March, but it better live up to the Hype of J Cole, cause all his fans have been waiting.

Dean's List - Caveman

The Dean's List had a hit mixtape in my opinion in "The Drive-in" that was released a while back and since then I hadn't heard anything from them, until today on iTunes they dropped this hot new song "Caveman" with vocals by Dani Ummel who was on a few tracks on the "Drive-in" mix tape.  Anyway I'm really feeling this song, the Dean's List is definitely a group to look out for.

The Weeknd - Birds (Part 1)

I know I'm a few days late with this one, but this song is quickly becoming one of my favorites of the year, the passion in the Canadian Singer Abel Tesfaye that makes up the Weeknd is just captivating.  I checked out House of Balloons when I was on my Frank Ocean Nostalgia/Ultra fix and it was just as good if not better, I'm really looking forward to that next project "Thursday" and also the rumors of a The Weeknd x Drake collab that there have been rumors about.

Mac Miller feat Talib Kweli - Family First

Not a Mac Miller Fan at all by any means wasn't Feeling "Best Day Ever" at all maybe because of that damn song "My Hat" or some shit like that, but after reaching 500,000 followers on Twitter Mac released this song featuring a the great Talib Kweli, and its not as bad as typical Mac songs but then again maybe thats cause it has Kweli, but still check it out for yourselves.

Drake - Trust Issues

I am a Drake Hater, atleast a Thank Me Later Hater, but I can man up and say that this plus Marvin's Room (Which really grew on me) are going to just add to Take Care when it drops in October.  MY only problem lately with Drake in both of these songs is that I feel the emotion is so much greater if he wouldn't throw in that one rap verse.  In Marvin's Room the first 2:30 is great and then that rap verse just doesn't do it for me, same again in this one, but even if the verse takes away some emotion, the song's still definitely have replay value, job well done Drake.

Jon Connor - Broken Mirror

Broken Mirror is a more sensitive slightly conscious release from Jon Connor, a Flint, Michigan Rapper thats been around for a while but never really gotten the shine he deserves.  I've listened to three of his tapes so far that you can listen to for free on his website, but this song Broken Mirror is one of my favorites.  It's supposed to be on his new LP "Salvation" coming out July 12th, so look around for that and until then buy his other releases on his website just $5 for 25 songs each, and you won't regret it and enjoy Broken Mirror.

The Cool Kids feat Mayer Hawthorne - Swimsuits

The Rap duo from the Chi Town released one of there new songs off there upcoming LP "When Fish Ride Bicycles" that drops July 12th.  On this one they teamed up with a soulful white michigan artist in Mayer Hawthorne, to create such a chill summer song in "Swimusits" S/O to Pitchfork for this one, since it's not up on youtube yet check the link below and enjoy "Swimsuits"

The Cool Kids - Swimsuits

Dosage - Hades

Most known for being a member of Lupe Fiasco's "All City Chess Club" and also for opening for Lupe on the Stepping Lasers tour, Dosage a MC from Philly can really spit.  After hearing the mixtape Sand and Foam I was instantly hooked and now dosage is dropping another one called "Blood and Sand" sometime soon, and this song Hades is going to be on it.  So check this out and look forward to more Dosage.

Los - Marvin's Room Freestyle

Drake's Marvin's Room seems to be the song that everyone is starting to cover/remix/freestyle over.  Earlier last week the singer Jojo did a cover over his song, kind of from the girls perspective; but now Los a rapper out of Baltimore has done a really good freestyle over it.  Los was originally signed to Bad Boy after making the next rap crew or whatever that Diddy show was called.  Now Los is doing stuff on his own, my favorite work of his was his Louis Vuitton Gifts mixtape which was released around Christmas and it was like 16 freestyles, dudes really talented so if you enjoy this then check out some more Los.

Fuze the MC - Tell Me Something GOOD

Just dropped earlier today, a new up and coming 20 year old artist; Fuze the MC is getting somewhere dropping his second project that I know of "Tell me Something GOOD."  If you're the type that needs to know credentials well Big Boi from the Legendary Duo Outkast stated that "Fuze is the Dopest MC of the Year."  That right there should be enough for you to check this out, plus a free DL for a great release like this.  Get the DL link below:

http://www.fuzethemc.com/

XV - 30,000 feet up in the sky

After reaching 30,000 followers on Twitter XV decided to give out a thanks to the fans.  He gave us this song "30,000 feet up in the sky" its like a typical good XV track, except the difference is that this time XV is experimenting with some dubstep.  Give it a listen and look for "The Kid with the Green Backpack" whenever that finally comes out.

Thursday, June 16, 2011

Sez Batters - Sweet Sixteen (mixtape)

Not all the way done with listening to this tape that just dropped earlier.  I saw it on XV's Tumblr so I had to check it out.  Although, I know nothing about Sez Batters, this tape so far is dope.  It's got good features also, Vizzy Himself, T-Pain, Chiddy Bang, GLC, and T-Pain.  Along with production by Eminem, XV, Lex Luger, Seven, and more. DL Link below:

Sez Batters Sweet Sixteen DL

Abel Miller - No Gentlemen

I Don't know much about him at all, So I'm not gonna pretend like I do, but I've been on an R&B craze lately and when a guy on KanyetoThe.com posted this I had to check it out and I was really feeling it.  What I do know based off his myspace and twitter is that Abel Miller is a UK R&B artist from London City.  I will definitely be checking out more from this guy, cuz I'm really feeling this song.

Wale - Lacefrontin

Man has it been a while since we've heard from this dude.  After the whole blow-up over the Kid CuDi situation to the insults on the Radio Show about the Rapper Bossman.  Well, now after getting signed to Maybach Music Group, which is headed by Rick Ross.  Wale started to drop throwback thursday's using the inspiration from Kanye West's Idea of GOOD Fridays.  Anyway this track is rumored to be on Wale's Sophomore album.

Frank Ocean - Novacane Official Video

Sorry I can only find out how to post videos through Youtube, but since its not on there, check the link below for Frank Ocean's new video for his Single "Novacane" off of his re-release of Nostalgia/Ultra Ep coming July 26.  Frank Ocean is the R&B singer of one of the hottest groups out right now, a bunch of teenage kids aka Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, check it out and enjoy, it really is on some "Stanley Kubrick shit"

Frank Ocean Novacane Video

J Cole - Workout

Sampling Kanye West's song "Workout Plan" on College Dropout, J Cole's supposed single from his debut album that's still unamed has dropped.  I mean I was a Cole fan after hearing his good stuff 2 years ago and then again in the end of 2010, but man this album delaying shit is making me and other Cole fans mad, and his work just doesn't have the same feel as it did.  Anyway thats my opinion give it your own:

Mickey Factz - Letter to Sonic

Mickey Factz wrote this song as a Ode to Charles Hamilton, whose a phenomenal rapper going through some tough times.  Last I know he got Arrested in Cleaveland, then supposedly went to a Psycho Ward or something, but it sucks cuz the dude's so talented and were all waiting for that hit album that he's capable of.  Anyway Mickey spits some good bars on a beat supposedly produced by Sonic himself, give it a listen.

Kanye West - Mama's Boyfriend Leak FALSE

Kanye has chosen to speak out against the release of his most recent leak "Mama's Boyfriend" and from what his representative said Mr. West is not a happy Camper:
The version of the Kanye West recording ‘Mama’s Boy’ that arrived on blog sites earlier this week is entirely bogus and unsanctioned, and violates the artist’s creative intentions. As is often the unfortunate case, an unknown party or parties got a hold of Kanye West’s vocal track and added their own soundbed to it, effectively and falsely releasing it as a Kanye West track from the ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ sessions. The result in no way resembles the final song Kanye West intended his fans to hear, and he is deeply disappointed that one of the most personal, meaningful and special songs he has ever written would reach people in this way. Needless to say, measures are being taken to identify and prosecute the persons responsible for leaking this material.
If you leaked this, I'd run for the hills, I mean you saw what happened to the guy that Leaked "Graduation" early, Mr. West doesn't fuck with leaks.

Blu - Past The Margin

One of my favorite West Coast Rappers Johnson Barnes aka Blu had this video release today of either a new song old song.  I actually just found that this is only Blu's verse from a song called "One Day" by Jesse Abraham.  Blu spits a nice verse on this over a Nas Illmatic classic "The world is Yours" beat.  If your not familar with Blu then the first thing you must do is get his album "Below the Heavens" one of my favorite albums of all time  The link to the full song is below:

CyHi Da Prynce - Royal Flush II

The Sequel to CyHi Da Prynce's originial "Royal Flush", "Royal Flush II" is one of the top tapes I've heard so far this year.  Featuring artists like other G.O.O.D. Music signees Big Sean and Pusha-T, then with other features in Pill, Tity boi, B.o.B., Trey Songz, and Yelawolf.  This mixtape shows off some different styles of CyHi some more lyrical stuff, and then some I'm fresh, party rap style.  Just like the first one, CyHi is gonna get there one day hopefully sooner then later.  My favorites off of the tape are "Sunday Morning" "Bulletproof" "Stadium" "Cold as Ice" damn actually the whole tape DL link below:

Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel

Its here Eminem and Royce Da 5"9's collab LP "Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel"  The Duo teamed up with other members of shady's crew Slaughterhouse and also has a feature from Mike Epps.  This LP ain't too bad some radio hits like "Lighters" featuring Bruno Mars, a more heavy hitting song in "Fast Lane" and 7 other tracks to feed your shady Palette.   Deluxe edition contains 11 tracks tho, check it out on iTunes or however else you get your music.  I personally Think Royce was much better then Shady on this but I haven't been in love with Shady since his first 3 albums.

Jojo - Marvin's Room (Can't do Better)

Jojo yes the singer that sang that "Get out, Leave" song or whatever it was called, has recently been covering many different Drake Songs.  Kind of weird, but I gotta say that her cover of Marvin's Room is pretty good, See for your self.

Yonas - Living in the Sky

Of all the great artists that dropped music tonight, I'm really liking this new Yonas song.  After delivering a phenomenal album in "The Proven Theory" Yonas is back with this new song that dropped earlier tonight on DjBooth.net.  Yonas is one of my favorite artists, although I haven't met him personally, he's treated me very well and I know people that have met him that say he's a great guy.  So this one's for you Yonas, Thank you for everything, and I'm looking forward to more hits coming and your name to be climbing the charts.

DL: Yonas - "Living in the Sky"

Nas - Nasty

He's BACK, one of my favorite artists Nasty Nas is back with this song "Nasty."  After a lot of bad losses with songs, although I really enjoyed "Distant Relatives", he's back recording his 11th studio album "Life is Good" and besides for Watch the Throne, it'll probably be the #2 album on my list of albums I'm looking forward to.  To those who say music is bad this year, yea the shit your hearing is bad, you gotta know where to look and Nas is right down that alleyway.

Kanye West - Mama's Boyfriend

For Ye stans like me, we saw the preview of this song a hell of a long time ago at the Facebook HQ, and now after looking for it every GOOD Friday, one version of the song is here.  There's debate on the internet about if this is the actual version cuz its missing the Premo scratches and a supposed Anita Baker sample.  There are rumors that this is the Madlib version, which I ain't complaining either way.  But here it is Kanye West - Mama's Boyfriend.

NORE feat Pharell Williams and Lil Wayne- Finito

Never heard of NORE I guess I can't know every artists, but this track produced by The Neptunes features Pharell and Lil Wayne.  The track has been completed for a while but they decided to go back to it and add a Lil Wayne verse.  Pretty good song, the song will definitely be on NORE's new album "S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G"

Lil Wayne - Anne

Literally with the same emotion that Marshall Mathers used in his dark song Stan, lil Wayne comes back with essentially Stan II.  This is a little different side from Wayne.  I  mean first we heard Heavy Gangsta Referenced "John".  Then he decided to drop some Kids Bop sing along shit in "How to Love" and now he's hit us with this new one called "Anne" thats all emotional.  The Carter IV seems like its gonna be a rollercoaster to get through but I'm still looking forward to it.

Big Sean x Kanye West x Roscoe Dash - Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay

Originally premiered at the GOOD show earlier this week in New York City, the CDQ version has been leaked of Big Sean's only collaboration with mentor Kanye West on his up-coming album "Finally Famous".  The two team up with Roscoe Dash most known for the hit song "No-Hands" and they create a club banger with this one.  Finally Famous drops June 28th, so be looking for Sean's debut in iTunes or online.

CyHi Da Prynce feat Big Sean - Whoopty Doo

This track produced by GOOD Music Founder Kanye West and the famous No I.D. caused GOOD Music stans to go crazy back when Kanye was dropping GOOD Fridays, but its finally here and its only CyHi and Big Sean.  Track gonna be released tomorrow off CyHi Da Prynce's sequel to his hit "Royal Flush."  Royal Flush II will be dropping tomorrow, but until then you can relax and listen to this hit.

Jason Caeser feat Laws - Still(not) Over You

I'm not too familiar with Jason Caeser, but I am with Laws, and After Laws dropped his fantastic last project which was a tribute to Paul McCartney; I definitely had to check this one out.  Can't find a youtube link for ya'll but this just dropped on Djbooth.net tonight so there link is below:

DjBooth.net: Jason Caesar feat Laws - Still (not) over you

J Cole- Lost Ones

A Day ago J Cole Dropped this new song "Lost Ones" well leaked actually, so no DL is gonna be posted by me, ya'll got the internet you can find it if you want, but I ain't getting shut down.  Some people think this is gonna be on the next album, and if so then this debut album that might come out eventually will atleast have one good track.  Cole offers a few pretty emotion filled verses on this one, and i'm feeling it; unlike a few of the past songs he's dropped.  So enjoy

Drake - Marvin's Room

Yesterday Drake announced that his second album "Take Care" would be dropping October 24, and that  in July we should be hearing more from Drake.  Until then this new song Marvin's Room leaked or was released not 100% sure which since I'm not a Drake Stan.  To be quite honest I'm not feeling Drake in this at all.  He seems like He's still stuck on the same 808's and Heartbreak left over track beat that he was on all the way back to "So far Gone."  His vocal performance literally sounds like he's got Frank Ocean singing on the track as opposed to Drake, but I know some of my friends are feeling this song and you might also.  Since every link has been taken down on youtube, below you can get a link to listen:

Kanye Signs 2 new G.O.O.D. Music members

Kanye West, Hip-Hop superstar and founder of G.O.O.D. Music adds two more members to his all-star cast of more veteran Artists like Common and Mos Def, to his more up and coming artists like Big Sean and CyHi Da Prynce.  Well now West has gone global signing D'Banj and Don Jazzy a producer.  D'Banj is very successful in his native country of Nigeria winning multiple awards, and Don Jazzy is accredited to be a very successful Nigerian Producer.  This new signing makes you question if Kanye is using these two on his collab album with Jay-Z: Watch the Throne.  I guess we'll have to wait and see but until then I gotta research these two.

Elzhi - Elmatic

Michigan Rapper elzhi has been working on this project for what some say has been 3 years and it's finally here.  Last Week Elzhi dropped "Elmatic" a tribute album to arguably one of the greatest of all time, Nas's "Illmatic."  Many artists have tried to do tribute albums and such like how Fashawn dropped "Ode to Illmatic" last year but Elzhi goes at it with a new touch.  He brings a live band into the studio in order to recreate the beats and that classic "Illmatic" sound.  Never really heard of Elzhi till I heard about this project, but after listening to this, I will definitely listen to more of him.

Big Sean - Finally Famous Tracklist and brief overview (Complex Mag)

After waiting for years for Big Sean to release his Debut album.  We are now only 19 days away and this time it seems like it will actually be happening.  After speculative release dates and push backs and mix tapes it's now becoming a reality.  After a "torch passing" party with Kanye West, Big Sean premiered the song above "So much more" with production done by No I.D.  Its a real soulful beat and Sean doesn't sound half bad on it.  Also released earlier this week was a Recap from Complex about each track on Sean's new album.  It's a good read with a few songs that we already knew about and a lot of features; thanks to Complex for this one:

 Finally Famous Track List

Jay-Z x Kanye West - Watch The Throne

After the rumor that the first single off of the Collab album between two of raps greats Jay-Z and Kanye West, would be called Lift-Off and feature Bruno Mars and Jay-Z's wife Beyonce came out in late May.  Now new rumors are surfacing that the release date for this hopeful classic will be released July 4th.  Yes, July 4th, less than a month away.  Rumors are also surfacing that Lift-Off could premier on Monday.  So check back for that, and read the article from "The Source" below:

The Source : Watch the Throne July 4th

Laws X Paul McCartney - Yesterday's Future

After being Delayed a week, for what I can assume would be sampling copyright disputes, Laws dropped his Tribute to Paul McCartney on June 7.  This is one of my favorite tapes of the year, using Beatles and Paul McCartney samples is just refreshing.  Laws a Brazilian Born rapper is on par with this one and the work of JUSTICE LEAGUE's production was stellar.  One of my favorite parts of this album is the mix of the Paul McCartney Press Conferences, overall this tape was worth the wait and was very well done.

Kanye West - Monster Music Video

Kanye West does it again, even though we all saw a previous version of this music video it has changed a little bit, easily the darkest video that I have seen this year and Rick Ross Holding a chainsaw just makes me burst out laughing each time.  After All of the Lights being a warning for Epileptics, this video has to have a warning about Misogyny.  If this video doesn't stay up the link to see it is here:

Eminem & Royce Da 5 9 Feat Bruno Mars - Lighters

Lighters is another track that is confirmed to be released on Eminem and Royce Da 5 9 's collab album Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel coming out June 14th.  The song is actually produced by Shady himself and has the potential to become a hit especially with that Bruno Mars Hook.  So look out for Bad Meet Evil: Hell the Sequel in about 10 days.
